Artist’s Notes:
Being a romantic myself, I thought of what the words "cross my heart" meant and tried to express it with two figures. I believe it is a promise that you make from one heart to another; it is not something you take lightly or make lightly. We may all have used the phrase as children but as adults, I think, it takes on deeper meaning.
