Artist’s Notes:
Helix is a shape in the form of a spiral coil, either cylindrical or conical, along its length. The deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) molecule in genetic research was found to be composed of two long strands in the form of a double helix, much like a long spiral ladder. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Foundation asked that I create a Double Helix for their donor award program.
