Artist’s Notes:
The Olympics are always inspiring for me. The movement of the athletes particularly attracts me and I have long wanted to capture a piece that would show some aspects of the gymnast that I think are amazing. This award shows extreme effort, unbelievable movement and extraordinary focus, three aspects that many of us try to bring to our own work.
