Artist’s Notes:
In creating a piece that would express what excellence means, I strove to use elements that would illustrate the definition. A circle is the "circle of excellence" through which a star is thrusting into the future with great force. The tail of the star can be seen as a lightning bolt. It is a shooting star that is bursting through excellence into the beyond. It is a state that is greater and more superior.
