Artist’s Notes:
Project Sister asked me to create a piece for their heart program. It is a very simple interpretation of two hearts with the idea that one heart, that of the donor is received and one heart that of the recipient is lost. The small hearts carved into one of the hearts represent all the other hearts that are connected to both individuals through caring.
