Artist’s Notes:
I have to admit, I had to search to find this name. I heard it used as "Sentient Being" on Star Trek and immediately wondered what it meant. It means capable of feeling, but Sentience to me, means full of feeling. I think it expresses this piece perfectly. This award is also derived from my love of dance.
