Artist’s Notes:
We are impregnated from an early age with the importance of stars. We are offered "gold stars", we see "stars" perform in movies and TV, we see "stars" in the heavens, and we recognize that stars represent a very high level of achievement. Therefore, I wanted to create a star that was more powerful somehow than other stars. There are always those among us who strive to do more than just excel.
