Artist’s Notes:
Working or volunteering for a company often involves individuals who contribute in unimaginable ways to the amazement of others. This award recognizes that singular effort that I consider to come from a place "out of this world". The figure is reaching upward, toward space, the outer limits, and beyond, to grasp a star which is a symbol for achievement. "Stars" fill the sky above us and there are always those that standout, they are "Stellar".
