Artist’s Notes:
There were several aspects of this award that helped me express the feelings I wanted to show. This is a figure that is proud; the head is thrown back as are the arms. This is a figure that is pushing forward into the future. This is seen in the position of the legs, on being thrust forward. Zenith is the highest point and this figure is striving for that position in life.
